Contrary to popular belief, all the tea types come from the same plant that grows mostly in the big China. There is actually only one tea plant that differs in color, smell, taste and benefits according to the region where it grows and also according to the process the tea leaves are gathered and processed before they hit the tea bags and the stores. Besides green and black teas, all the other types are less known, at least in Europe and North America due to the fact that just these 2 types are those most powerful and full of different health benefits.
According to many clinical tests that were carried green tea is definitely the one with the most advantages, but it is not the one that is drunk the most. We are used to drink the “normal” black tea more, many of us on regular daily basis.
